Today we drove over to Corpus Christi to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel then we went to Century 16 and watched the movie “127 Hours”. We enjoyed both. The movie was based on a true story and was at some points quite gruesome, it made one wonder at the strength we can find within ourselves if we dig deep. It also reminded us of the importance of always letting someone know where you are or where you are going. And it is sometimes important that we indicate the route we plan to take to get there. Quite a movie.
Before returning to Port A we stopped off at Walmart in Aransas Pass to purchase a few groceries and bumped into a lady that works a couple of months a year helping with Crafts at SDC. It’s a small, small world. She introduced us to a new eating place, (new to us), The Butter Churn. We didn’t eat there today because we had previous plans to go back to Port A and “Virginia’s on the Bay.””
I have had quite a lot of pain in my right leg today and JW is suffering bunches with his wrist. I ‘spect we are looking at a change in the weather. When our bodies speak to us, who needs the weatherman? We had a cool, but very enjoyable day.
